Cecilia de Lima

Cecilia de Lima Teixeira was born in Lisbon-Portugal in 1974.
In1986 she started her dance studies at the Dancers Formation Centre of the National Ballet Company where she participated in several performances of the company.

In 1993 she challenged her pathway into contemporary dance and in 1996 she graduated at the Superior School of Dance of Lisbon.

In 1997 she decided to develop her choreographic studies at the European Dance Development Centre in Holland. She followed classes and workshops with: Steve Paxton, Eva Karczag, Jean Sasportes, Olga Pona, Angus Balbernie, Joao da Silva, Eszter Gal, Mary Fulkerson, Peter Hulton, Toni Thatcher, Lisa Kraus, Joseph Nadj and many others.

Since 1996 she has worked as a dancer for several dance companies and independent choreographers like: Angus Balbernie, Amelia Bentes, YJK dance-company, Monteure theatre-dance Company, Krisztina Ferencz, Lorenzo Borella and Attila Gonczi, in between others.

Cecilia is one of the founding artistic members of Canvas Performing Art. Since 1999 she has been dancing and choreographing several performances for this company.

Attila Gonczi

is a Hungarian choreographer and dancer, currently working in the Netherlands.
 

Attila Gonczi started to dance at the age of ten in the "Tiszafured Folk Dance Company" where, for ten years he performed all over Hungary and Europe. In 1993, he works with the "Modern Tanc-Jatek Studio". In 1996, with three other artists, he founds the “Water-Mark Dance Company”, graduates as a modern dance teacher and starts to teach dance for students at KFRTK College in Debrecen.
In 1997 he decides to develop his dance and choreographic studies at European Dance Development Center -Dansacademie in Arnhem, Holland, He follows classes and workshops with: Jean Sasportes, , Eva Karczag, Angus Balbernie, Olga Pona, Peter Hulton, Eszter Gal, Charlotte Zerby, Roberto Galvan, Tony Theacher, Lisa Kraus, Joseph Nadj, Joao da Silva, Frans Poelstra in between others.
Since 1998 has been working as a free-lancer with several dance companies and independent choreographers like: Angus Balbernie, Roberto Galvan, Sasha Pepalaiev, Lorenzo Borella, Cecilia de Lima, Eszter Gál, De Plaats Theater Company (Holland), Montuere Theatre Company (Germany).
Since 2000 he is one the founding members of Canvas Performing Art, where he works as choreographer and dancer.
