Ballet dancers have been regarded as some of the most beautiful and graceful people in performing arts for as long as ballet has been around. It is many a child’s dream to dance in such performances as Swan Lake and the Nutcracker. Dancers begin training at ages as young as three and continue throughout their lives in hopes of becoming professional Ballet dancers. That being said, once a person obtains the level of excellence required to become a professional where do they look for employment?
In the United States there are numerous opportunities to audition for a chance to become a professional ballet dancer. Possible avenues for employment include entertainment venues such as a cruise ship or theme parks, traveling ballet companies, professional dance theaters, dance schools, Broadway venues and more.
